I am Deborah

I design UX/UI for apps and SaaS from a high-standard trio: intuitive flows, beautiful visuals, and reliable front-end.

My background

I’m a French UX/UI designer and front-end developer based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia.

I’ve been building websites for over 15 years — starting with my own projects while I worked as a photographer and helped friends with theirs. Photography sharpened my eye for balance, composition, contrast, and visual rhythm — fundamentals that directly inform how I evaluate and execute UI. This background means I’m sensitive to subtle alignment, spacing, colour relationships, and clarity in interfaces that many designs miss.

Now

After several years working in website design and build, I started finding it a bit repetitive, and started working on apps and product interfaces. This was the perfect fit, because complex flows and interactive logic always bring unique challenges.

For the past four years I have been working at Propfit, where I’ve led design and front-end work — defining how interfaces look and behave, and working on improving the usability, performance and scalability of the product.

I also work on independent projects that are interesting, creatively challenging, or contribute something positive for people or the environment.

Creativity and craft, backed by solid UX and clean front-end execution.

Working together

When I take on a project, I get really passionate about it (some would say a bit obsessive), and I will do everything I can to make it a success. I lead UX/UI design end-to-end — from shaping flows and screens to refining the details that matter in real use. When it helps move things forward, I also step into front-end work — building UI components or static sites. When collaborating with development teams, I ensure seamless handoffs and clear communication throughout the process.

I work best with people who enjoy brainstorming ideas, and debating solutions. I like working both in teams and independently, and love anything that is challenging and that I haven't seen before.
